Application Engineer

Massivit, a leading large-scale additive manufacturing company, is looking for an Applications Engineer to join our Applications team.

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who combines strong technical capabilities with excellent people skills.

The role focuses on CIM technology and industrial-grade epoxy molding solutions for customers and manufacturing partners worldwide.

The position combines CAD modeling, additive manufacturing, composite molding, and project management, with responsibility for taking projects from initial requirements through production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and model composite molds and tooling in CAD, based on customer requirements and manufacturing specifications.
• Prepare and optimize 3D printing files for production, ensuring parts are suitable for the CIM printing process.
• Oversee the manufacturing workflow, including printing, post-processing, finishing, and quality checks as required.
• Take ownership of projects from initial characterization and quoting through production and final delivery.
• Work closely with customers and manufacturing partners to develop and implement industrial molding solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing partners to ensure successful implementation of CIM technology.
• Collaborate with R&D to improve print quality, process stability, and workflow efficiency.
• Work closely with Sales, R&D, Software, Marketing, and Customer Support on customer applications and projects.
• Support customer part design and redesign where required for additive manufacturing and molding applications.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality throughout the entire workflow.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field – required.
• Excellent written and verbal Hebrew and English – required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – required (particularly for training manufacturing partners and working with customers and global teams).
• 2-3 years of proven experience in SolidWorks – required.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards (ISO9100, AS9100)
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, dynamic production environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional and international team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with composite material manufacturing and layup molds – strong advantage.
• Experience with industrial additive manufacturing / 3D printing – strong advantage.
• Experience with Rhino – nice to have.
• Experience working directly with customers on technical or engineering projects.
