Athlete Journey Partnerships is a newly launched, Israel-based business helping ambitious athletes and sporting organisations develop their commercial positioning, tell their stories professionally and pursue meaningful partnership opportunities.

AJP is currently developing its athlete portfolio and is looking to build relationships with talented freelance specialists who may support individual projects as the business grows.

Role Description

AJP is seeking a Freelance Social Media and Content Specialist for an initial paid three-month project, subject to final agreement on the scope, deliverables and monthly fee.

The specialist will help create a professional, consistent and engaging online presence for an athlete-focused project. Responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing and improving social-media profiles

• Developing a clear content strategy and monthly calendar

• Writing professional English captions

• Creating clean graphics using Canva or similar tools

• Editing family- or client-supplied footage into short-form videos

• Preparing approximately eight approved posts per month

• Recording important sporting milestones and achievements

• Monitoring basic performance and providing a monthly summary

• Following AJP branding, confidentiality and approval procedures

All content must be approved before publication. The successful freelancer must handle private information responsibly and be comfortable working under strict parental, privacy and safeguarding requirements where a young athlete is involved.

The athlete’s identity and confidential project information will only be disclosed at the appropriate stage.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing social-media profiles or content campaigns

• Strong written English and an ability to tell clear, engaging stories

• Experience creating graphics and editing short-form video

• Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube content

• Ability to work independently, meet agreed deadlines and respond to feedback

• A professional understanding of confidentiality, privacy and approval processes

• Sports, athlete, youth-sport or personal-branding experience is highly desirable

• Hebrew and/or Arabic would be helpful but is not essential
