Open Banking Development Team Lead | Leading Bank | Shfela Area

A leading bank in the Shfela Area is looking for an experienced Development Team Lead to lead the development team responsible for its Open Banking platform.

This is a software development leadership role combining team management, technical ownership of a complex banking platform, solution design, REST APIs, Microservices, and collaboration across multiple technology and regulatory stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Manage and technically lead an internal software development team

• Define development tasks, priorities, and work plans and manage ongoing activities using Jira

• Take technical ownership of the development, maintenance, and operation of the Open Banking platform

• Design technology solutions and write technical specifications

• Lead the software development lifecycle from requirements and development through integration, QA, Production deployment, and maintenance

• Work with REST APIs and Microservices architecture

• Support the implementation of Bank of Israel regulatory requirements and Berlin Group standards

• Collaborate with Digital, Mainframe, APIC, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams

• Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and other technology teams

• Monitor the platform using Elastic and lead end-to-end troubleshooting of complex incidents

• Work with third-party organizations and provide professional technical support

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing and technically leading a software development team – required

• Experience managing complex technology systems within a financial organization – required

• Experience working with REST APIs and Microservices architecture – required

• Open Banking experience – a significant advantage

• Familiarity with NestJS – a significant advantage

• Experience with Elastic and Jira – an advantage

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

• Experience collaborating with Infrastructure, Information Security, Integration, and Digital teams – an advantage
