Information System Manager

A large, well-established Israeli company is looking for an experienced Information Systems Manager to lead a 12-person multidisciplinary in-house Information Systems team, including professionals across ERP and Business Applications, IT and Infrastructure, Development and Digital, and BI.

This is a broad leadership role combining people management, hands-on technological depth, business partnership and innovation. The Information Systems Manager will be the senior professional authority for the company’s Information Systems function, working closely with senior management and business leaders across the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of approximately 12 employees across ERP, Business Applications, IT, Infrastructure, Development, Digital and BI
• Take overall responsibility for the organization’s core business systems and technological environment
• Lead managers and experienced professionals across different Information Systems disciplines
• Work closely with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into effective technological solutions
• Lead cross-organizational Information Systems, digitalization and automation projects
• Drive continuous improvement of ERP systems, business processes and internal applications
• Remain hands-on and capable of diving into systems, processes, specifications and technological challenges when needed
• Promote the practical adoption of AI tools and identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes and technological capabilities
• Manage vendors, budgets, priorities and annual technology plans
• Build and execute a technological roadmap while ensuring reliable day-to-day delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant and proven experience managing an Information Systems team of 7-8+ employees - required
• Management experience across more than one Information Systems domain, such as ERP together with IT, Development, Business Applications or BI - required
• Strong hands-on ERP experience, including process analysis, system implementation, integrations and ongoing improvement - required
• Experience working with more than one ERP platform - strong advantage
• SAP Business One experience - advantage
• Practical experience with AI tools and a strong understanding of how AI can be implemented within an organization - strong advantage
• Experience leading complex cross-functional technology projects
• Strong business orientation and the ability to connect technology with operational and commercial needs
• High managerial maturity, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead experienced professionals
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up approach

Relevant backgrounds and previous titles may include Information Systems Manager, Head of Information Systems, Senior Information Systems Manager, Business Applications Manager, ERP Manager or Information Systems Department Manager, provided the candidate has broad multidisciplinary management experience.

This is a hybrid position, based in the Rishon LeZion area, with one work-from-home day per week.
