Production Engineer

Company Description Kanfit is a build-to-spec aerospace engineering company that delivers turnkey solutions for the design and manufacturing of complex hybrid aero-structures, electromechanical and non-standard assemblies, and complete sub-systems. The company produces a wide range of systems including flight deck structures, landing gear doors, winglets, missile parts, antennas, radomes, tools, and jigs. Role Description The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, optimizing, and monitoring manufacturing processes for complex composite, metallic, and plastic aerospace components and assemblies. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating production plans, defining and improving workflows, preparing work instructions, and supporting the transition from prototypes to serial production. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve production issues, ensure quality standards, and meet delivery and cost targets. The Production Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the introduction of new production technologies. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Nof HaGalil.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, including process design, manufacturing methods, and integration of composite, metal, and plastic parts.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and root cause analysis.
• Candidates should possess experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource coordination.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including familiarity with inspection methods, documentation, and aerospace quality standards.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear technical reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant qualifications include an engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field), experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, and proficiency with CAD/CAM and ERP systems.
• Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of composite manufacturing, additive manufacturing processes, continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean or Six Sigma), and strong organizational abilities.
