NovoDia builds custom curriculum for US school districts. Every district needs something different: its own standards, languages, priorities, and student needs — which is why traditional publishers, at years per curriculum, could never serve them. We generate complete, district-specific curriculum — every unit, lesson, and assessment — in weeks, and it is in use in classrooms across the US.

The role

Develop the platform that generates all of this, together with our senior AI Architect. The mission is to produce content at curriculum scale, at a quality level teachers rely on, consistently. The entire platform is engineered with AI tools; that is the working method. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, working closely with product and pedagogy.

What you'll do

• Build and evolve the generation workflows: curriculum, unit, lesson, activity, and assessment
• Design the prompt architecture, context management, structured outputs, and multi-step generation flows
• Build agentic workflows and orchestration where they improve quality, consistency, or efficiency
• Create evaluation, testing, and monitoring systems that identify quality issues and prevent regressions
• Make the technical decisions on model selection, routing, cost, latency, reliability, and scale
• Develop systems for content adaptation, standards alignment, and differentiation
• Build and improve chat-based editing, optimization, and image-generation workflows

What we're looking for

• Real products shipped through AI-native
• Hands-on depth in generative AI systems: prompt architecture, context management, model orchestration, reliable multi-step workflows
• Solid grasp of structured outputs, schemas, tool calling, retrieval, and agentic workflows
• Experience building evaluation, quality checks, and regression testing for AI-generated output
• Clear technical judgment on quality, stability, scale, latency, and cost — moving fast without creating fragile systems
• Strong product judgment; the ability to learn a complex domain independently. EdTech or K-12 experience is a plus
