Test Engineer

About the Job

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is looking for a Wind Tunnel Test Engineer to join the Engineering & Development Center within the Aviation Group.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on planning and conducting aerodynamic wind tunnel tests, combining engineering analysis, practical experimentation, and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

What the Role Includes:

• Preparing and conducting aerodynamic experiments in wind tunnels.
• Hands-on operation of test equipment and leading a team of technical experts.
• Working in a multidisciplinary environment integrating mechanical, control, hardware, and software disciplines.
• Working non-standard hours and overtime according to experimental requirements.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Fluid Mechanics/Fluid Dynamics – Mandatory.
• M.Sc. in Engineering – Advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in fluid dynamics or experimental testing – Advantage.
• Experience conducting fluid dynamics/wind tunnel experiments – Advantage.
• Willingness and availability to work overtime and non-standard hours according to testing schedules – Mandatory.
