Job Description:

• Manage a team responsible for the availability, reliability, and proper operation of all storage, backup, and database environments across the organization.
• Take overall responsibility for maintaining storage, backup, and database systems and implementing ongoing operational plans.
• Plan and prepare the infrastructure required to meet the organization's future needs.
• Design and implement technological solutions for organizational projects involving storage, backup, and database systems.
• Manage a professional team of 4 employees.
• Manage resources in these areas, including personnel, budgets, work orders, and more.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute integrated projects with various interfaces within the IT Division, including Information Security, Data Communications, and Information Systems.
• Document existing systems and develop operational procedures.
• Manage relevant contracts and vendors for storage, backup, and database environments.
• The work will primarily be carried out across the organization's main facilities, with travel to other organizational sites as required.
• The role may require 24/7 on-call availability, including responding to incidents outside regular working hours.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant academic/professional education.
• At least 6 years of experience working with storage, backup, and database systems in a large enterprise, including integrating systems across diverse environments.
• Experience managing a team of at least 4 employees in the technology infrastructure field within a large enterprise.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience operating the following systems and technologies:
• Advanced storage systems, such as Dell EMC solutions.
• Data backup systems.
• Microsoft and VMware technologies.
• Microsoft-based databases.
• Proven experience planning and executing storage and backup system upgrade and implementation projects.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Hebrew and English.
• Experience implementing and maintaining HP storage environments – an advantage.
• Experience with storage and backup management and monitoring products – an advantage.
• Experience working with various backup solutions, such as NetWorker and Veeam – an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure domains, including networking, information security, and databases – an advantage.
