Senior Mechanical Engineer

About us:

We are a mid-size, well-funded start-up, located in Kadima Israel.

Develops a large Unmanned Autonomous Airplane for agricultural services.

Job Description:

Mechanical design during the development phase and transition to production

Responsible for the mechanical assembly and integration of prototypes during the development and pre-production phases.

Must Have:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

At least 7 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Strong experience in core mechanical engineering disciplines, including:

• Heat transfer
• Vibration analysis
• Environmental qualification
• Drive systems and gear mechanisms
• Product structure (BOM/Product Trees)
• Transitioning products from development to production (NPI)

Extensive experience with SolidWorks.

Proven experience in the design and development of mechanical mechanisms.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge and Experience in aircraft structural design.
• Knowledge and Experience designing composite aircraft structures.
• Knowledge and Experience performing structural strength analyses.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of System-of-Systems (SoS) engineering.

• Team player, who can perform a wide range of tasks as part of an effort to design, implement, and integrate a large-scale system
