Precise-Bio is bringing science fiction to reality by biofabricating living tissues using regenerative medicine and 3D printing technologies. As we advance our clinical programs and establish our GMP manufacturing capabilities, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Manufacturing & Operations Manager to build and lead our manufacturing organization.

Position Summary

This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead Precise-Bio's Manufacturing & Operations function as we transition from development into GMP manufacturing. The successful candidate will build the manufacturing organization, establish operational processes, recruit and lead the production team, and ensure manufacturing excellence in support of the company's clinical and future commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the company's GMP Manufacturing & Operations organization.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing manufacturing team.
• Manage day-to-day GMP manufacturing activities, ensuring operational readiness and effective collaboration between the Haifa manufacturing site and the Modiin facility.
• Develop scalable manufacturing and operational processes, including production planning, inventory, material management and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, quality standards and manufacturing documentation, while partnering with QA to drive quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D to transfer new technologies into manufacturing, support equipment qualification and validation, and optimize manufacturing processes for future scale-up.
• Define and monitor operational KPIs to support manufacturing performance and organizational growth.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in GMP manufacturing within the biotech, pharmaceutical, cell therapy, tissue engineering or related industries.
• 5+ years of experience leading manufacturing or operations teams.
• Proven experience establishing or scaling manufacturing operations in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, clean-room operations and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering or advanced therapy products – an advantage.

Location: Haifa, Israel (primary manufacturing site), with ongoing collaboration at the Modiin site.
