Delivery Solution Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery and solution-design workshops with merchant engineering, architecture, and business teams.
• Understand the merchant’s existing e-commerce architecture, business requirements, operational processes, and technical constraints.
• Define the most appropriate Global-e integration approach across supported platforms, APIs, order management systems, and fulfilment solutions.
• Design end-to-end solutions, including system interactions, data flows, integration responsibilities, dependencies, and technical risks.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Act as the technical owner throughout delivery, ensuring the agreed solution is implemented correctly and aligned with Global-e best practices.
• Guide merchants and partners through configuration, development, testing, launch readiness, and go-live.
• Identify technical risks and complexity early, challenge non-scalable designs, and recommend practical alternatives.
• Investigate complex integration issues by reviewing API payloads, logs, network traffic, system behaviour, and configuration.
• Coordinate with Product and R&D when product changes, technical clarifications, or defect resolution are required.
• Provide structured feedback to Product and R&D based on recurring merchant requirements and integration patterns.
• Support internal teams through technical enablement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

• 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, solution architecture, implementation, or systems integration within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Experience owning customer-facing technical projects from discovery through implementation and launch.
• Strong understanding of solution design, system integrations, APIs, web technologies, and data flows.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, SQL, and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Ability to understand and document complex technical architectures and integration requirements.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Understanding of checkout, payments, order management, fulfilment, and e-commerce operational flows is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong ownership, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several integrations simultaneously.
• Comfortable working across globally distributed Product, R&D, Project Management, Operations, and commercial teams.
• You will help merchants launch scalable, reliable integrations by making the right technical decisions early, managing complexity throughout delivery, and acting as the bridge between the merchant’s technology landscape and Global-e’s platform.
