Senior Manager Strategy Business Development

osition Purpose

Lead the company's future growth engines by identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact strategic and business opportunities. The role is responsible for developing growth strategies, assessing entry into new markets and business domains, leading M&A transactions, investments, and strategic partnerships, while conducting in-depth business and financial analyses and driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Corporate Development and Business Development initiatives, from opportunity identification through execution and implementation.
• Identify, evaluate, and drive strategic growth opportunities, including expansion of existing businesses and entry into new markets and business areas.
• Lead M&A transactions, investments, and strategic partnerships from opportunity sourcing through transaction execution and closing.
• Conduct market, competitive, and industry analyses to formulate strategic recommendations and support executive decision-making.
• Develop business cases, financial models, valuation analyses, pricing strategies, profitability assessments, and ROI analyses.
• Lead due diligence processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Manage commercial and strategic negotiations with target companies, potential partners, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Business Units to evaluate opportunities and advance strategic initiatives.
• Lead complex cross-functional strategic projects, aligning multiple stakeholders and driving execution across the organization.
• Prepare executive presentations, strategic recommendations, and decision-making materials for senior leadership and executive committees.

Professional Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Development, Business Strategy, Investments, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Strategy Consulting.
• Demonstrated experience identifying, evaluating, and leading complex business opportunities.
• Proven experience leading M&A transactions, investments, strategic partnerships, or market/business expansion initiatives – a significant advantage.
• Previous experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, investment bank, private equity or venture capital fund, Big Four firm, or Corporate Development function within a leading organization – a significant advantage.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, business analysis, valuation, and business case development.
• Experience leading due diligence processes and complex commercial negotiations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
• Fluent English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
