Junior Pen tester

About the role

We are looking for a customer facing Junior pen tester to join our elite cybersecurity team. In this role, you will support Armory’s Customers on variety of “offensive” cyber operations such as penetration testing, red teaming, and vulnerability assessments across diverse environments, including web applications, networks, and mobile platforms. Your responsibilities will include executing one-day exploits, identifying security weaknesses, and contributing innovative research ideas to enhance our AI-driven security solutions. You will work closely with senior cybersecurity experts, gaining hands-on experience in real-world attack scenarios while expanding your expertise in offensive security techniques.

Serve as a customer-facing security expert, helping clients understand their security reports, explaining attack paths and vulnerabilities, and partnering with customer teams to support and guide remediation efforts where needed.

Responsibilities

· Manage Armory operations across multiple customers, keeping direct on-going touch with your customers, while building a trust relationship.

·  Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for web applications, networks, and mobile platforms.

·  Document findings using a risk-based approach, conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations, and assist clients in remediating security issues.

·  Support offensive cybersecurity projects under the guidance of senior team members, utilizing MITRE ATT&CK techniques.

· Keep the team up to date with the latest security threats, attack methods, and tools while sharing knowledge with the team.

·  Contribute to research initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in our AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

· 1-2 years proven experience in Pen-testing 

·  Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, web application misconfigurations, network security flaws).

· Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, and Metasploit.

·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a self-driven learning mindset.

·  Gant Driven – Work on scheduled tasks, according to defined timeline. Raising schedule constraints ahead of time.

· Ability to document and communicate the technical findings clearly and concisely.

·  Ability to handle customer meetings by yourself and adhere to high-level of service ethics.

· Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

·  Programming knowledge in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.

·  Familiarity with secure coding practices or experience in cybersecurity internships/projects.

· Background in IT, Cloud, or Technical Administration roles.
