Group Controller

A public group is seeking an experienced Group Controller to join its finance leadership team and work closely with the Group CFO.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting processes, including consolidation, SOX compliance, Board reporting, and stock exchange filings.
• Analyze financial and business data to support decision-making.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional financial projects.
• Monitor implementation of work plans, processes, and procedures.
• Prepare presentations and materials for management and Board meetings.
• Serve as a key partner to the Group CFO on strategic and operational matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA certification
• Experience in a similar role within a publicly traded company – mandatory.
• Background in a Big 5 accounting firm – mandatory.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, consolidation, SOX, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
