Job Description

A leading insurance company in Central Israel is looking for a Data Development Team Lead to lead a professional Data & BI team. The role includes managing System Analysts, ETL/SQL Developers, and BI Developers, leading end-to-end delivery processes, overseeing development quality, and driving Agile methodologies, professional standards, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing Data, BI, or ETL development teams.
• Proven experience managing employees, including mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
• Extensive experience leading end-to-end delivery processes in Data/BI environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle and advanced SQL.
• Experience using Jira for project management, tracking, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of ETL, SQL, and BI technologies with the ability to perform technical reviews.
• Experience implementing work processes, management routines, and professional standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver high-quality results.

Advantages

• Experience with Informatica, Tableau, and/or Business Objects.
• Experience working in Enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with AWS or Cloud platforms.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
