Field Service Engineer – Advanced Medical Microscopes

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team and work with advanced medical microscopes and imaging systems from ZEISS.

This role combines field service, advanced technology, customer support, and continuous professional development. The engineer will work closely with hospitals, medical professionals, technical teams, and international manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced medical microscopes and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and technical inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, optical, electronic, software, and network-related issues.
• Provide professional technical support to customers at hospitals and medical centers.
• Document service activities and prepare technical reports.
• Work closely with internal service teams, application specialists, and manufacturer support teams.
• Participate in professional training programs provided by the manufacturer.
• Maintain a high level of customer service, responsibility, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Practical Engineer or Engineer in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical experience in one or more of the following areas is an advantage:
• Optics
• Electronics
• Micromechanics
• Computer networks
• Medical equipment
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Good technical English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Service-oriented approach, responsibility, and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel between customer sites.
• Previous experience with medical equipment is an advantage, but not mandatory.
