About the role:

As TREAT's Senior Data Analyst, you will own our data end to end and turn it into the insights that drive real business decisions. It is a broad role that blends deep business analysis with a strong technical, hands-on edge, working side by side with our development team.

You will shape the metrics and dashboards the company runs on, uncover the trends behind the numbers, and translate complex analyses into clear direction. With the autonomy to drive things forward, you will help everyone at TREAT make smarter, faster decisions, all in service of our mission to impact real animals' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis: Lead the business-focused analyses that answer real questions and guide our product and growth decisions. This is the core of the role.
• Data Quality & Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data across sources, building the trusted data foundations the business depends on for confident decision-making.
• Analyses: Run deep, exploratory analyses across our data, surfacing the insights and trends that inform strategy.
• Dashboards & Metrics: Build dashboards and define the parameters and KPIs the team tracks day to day.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work directly with development and with stakeholders across the company, taking ownership of projects end to end.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify gaps, issues, and opportunities independently, without waiting to be directed.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, including hands-on experience in the gaming industry.
• SQL Expertise: Strong, proven experience writing and optimizing SQL (a must-have).
• Data Engineering Lean: Comfortable working closely with developers and operating on the more technical, data engineering side, not just consuming ready-made data.
• Senior, Startup Background: Senior-level experience gained in a startup environment, working broadly and cross-functionally across the business.
• AI & Agentic Tools: Strong preference for hands-on experience leveraging AI and agentic tools to automate, scale, and optimize data work.
• Strong Business Sense: A solid business understanding and the ability to connect data to real business impact.
• Initiative & Ownership: Takes initiative, identifies opportunities proactively, and drives them forward independently.
• Excellent Communication: Able to take complex topics and explain them simply to both technical and non-technical audiences.
