Senior Identity & Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is looking for an experienced Senior Identity & Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join its IT Infrastructure team.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory, Entra ID, cloud platforms, and automation who are looking to work in a large, enterprise-scale environment supporting critical IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the organization's Active Directory environment, including Group Policy (GPO), permissions, servers, and infrastructure.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), identity management, authentication, and access to cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate system administration and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace cloud environments.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise DNS services.
• Administer Windows Server environments and virtual infrastructure (VM).
• Perform backups, recovery procedures, monitoring, and system troubleshooting.
• Participate in implementing new technologies and continuously improving the University's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience managing DNS, Windows Server, and virtualization environments.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with AI technologies in cloud environments – an advantage.
