Senior System & Infrastructure Specialist - Network & Security

Location: Rishon LeZion, Israel

SGF Global is recruiting a Senior System & Infrastructure Specialist for a leading enterprise client.

This is a senior, independent, hands-on position focused primarily on Microsoft systems and infrastructure, alongside significant responsibility for network and information security environments.

The role consists of approximately 65% systems and infrastructure and 35% network and security, with a strong emphasis on Check Point and Cisco Meraki.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, upgrade, and harden Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Administer Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, replication, FSMO roles, and Windows Server upgrades.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage identity and access services, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Authenticator.
• Administer Terminal Services/RDS environments, application publishing, and Microsoft Connection Broker.
• Support AWS and hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, perform recovery testing, and support disaster recovery processes.
• Operate and harden Check Point environments, including firewalls, VPNs, ClusterXL, and Geo Cluster.
• Manage Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including switching, routing, LAN/WAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Investigate complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system stability and security.
• Lead infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and hardening projects in production environments.
• Work closely with vendors, system integrators, and internal teams while preparing technical documentation, procedures, and work plans.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience as a Senior System Administrator or System Engineer in a complex or multi-site organization – mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, replication, FSMO, and Windows Server upgrades – mandatory.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID – mandatory.
• Experience with AWS and hybrid on-premises/cloud infrastructure – mandatory.
• Proven hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, recovery testing, and DR processes – mandatory.
• In-depth hands-on experience with Check Point – mandatory.
• Practical experience with Cisco Meraki – mandatory.
• Excellent troubleshooting, independent working, and technical documentation skills.
