Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join the National Digital Directorate's team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, leading, and implementing the technological and architectural roadmap for the government’s central cloud "Landing Zone" as part of the flagship "Nimbus" project. You will bridge the gap between complex security requirements, risk management, and scalable cloud engineering to enable secure digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy & Governance: Formulate, lead, and implement infrastructural and technological processes aligning with the organization's cloud and cyber security strategies.
• Landing Zone Architecture: Design and optimize a central, multi-account, and highly secure Landing Zone environment in a Multi-Cloud/Hybrid-Cloud ecosystem (with a strong focus on GCP).
• Zero-Trust Network Design: Architect secure network infrastructures, incorporating advanced frameworks like Zero Trust Architecture, secure connectivity, and robust isolation.
• Security Engineering & Controls: Evaluate, integrate, and deploy native and third-party security solutions, including CSPM, SASE, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, IAM, CNAPP, and CWPP.
• Technical Documentation: Author High-Level and Low-Level Design documents ($HLD/LLD$) across cloud components, operating systems, networks, and encryption mechanisms.
• Automation & DevOps: Leverage scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to drive security automation, proactive monitoring, and threat detection workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Developers, DevOps engineers, and security experts from initial design phases through to production integration.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect within public cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Education/Certifications: Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent military technological training (e.g., Mamram, 8200). Alternatively, holding a formal Cloud Solutions Architect Certification from a major provider (Google Cloud / AWS).
• Technical Domain Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in cloud security, network architecture, and security operations (Incident Response, cyber resilience, and disaster recovery).
• Skills: Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English , strong analytical and self-learning capabilities , and the ability to work in a dynamic, hybrid framework.
