DiploAct is an Israeli anti-extremism media project producing digital content for international audiences. The team creates high-volume short-form video and visual content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and other platforms, reaching millions of viewers each month.

We turn complex issues, propaganda, foreign influence, and current events into clear, creative content that young people actually watch.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to manage DiploAct’s daily digital presence across platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands social media, current events, and fast-moving content. You will help plan, publish, package, and improve content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other platforms.

The role combines platform management, editorial judgment, and content instincts. You should know what works online, what feels forced, and how to turn a topic into content people actually stop to watch.

Responsibilities

• Manage DiploAct’s social media platforms day to day
• Plan and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other platforms
• Write captions, hooks, titles, descriptions, and post copy
• Work with the content, design, and video teams to package content for each platform
• Track trends, current events, and online narratives relevant to DiploAct’s work
• Identify content opportunities and suggest angles for posts and videos
• Monitor performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements
• Manage comments, messages, and community engagement when needed
• Keep the content calendar organized and make sure posts go out on time
• Maintain a consistent voice across DiploAct’s digital channels

Qualifications

• Hebrew required
• Strong English required
• Experience managing social media accounts
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
• Good writing skills and strong editorial judgment
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-moving news and content environment
• Strong understanding of current events, politics, media, and digital culture
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple posts and platforms at once
• Ability to work with designers, editors, writers, and content creators
• Good instincts for what makes content clear, sharp, and shareable

Nice to have

• Arabic
• Experience in media, advocacy, journalism, politics, or content creation
• Experience with analytics tools and performance reporting
• Experience writing for English-speaking audiences
• Basic design or video editing skills
• Experience managing high-volume content calendars
• Interest in anti-extremism, foreign influence, propaganda, and public diplomacy
