Check Point Software is seeking a Social Media Manager, Executive & Employee Advocacy to help expand the reach and impact of our brand through executive thought leadership and employee amplification.
This role will be responsible for managing social media programs that elevate executive visibility, grow engagement on LinkedIn, and activate employees as brand advocates. Working closely with senior leaders, corporate marketing, communications, and the broader social media team, you will create and execute content that amplifies Check Point's perspective on cybersecurity, AI, and the issues shaping the industry.
The ideal candidate is a social media professional with strong writing skills, experience supporting executive social media programs, and hands-on expertise managing employee advocacy platforms and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Social Media & Thought Leadership
- Manage and grow the social media presence of Check Point executives, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
- Write, edit, and publish personalized executive social media content, including posts, articles, comments, and engagement opportunities.
- Partner directly with executives to identify content opportunities and maintain an authentic and consistent social presence and content calendar, aligned with company priorities, industry trends, speaking engagements, events, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Monitor industry conversations and recommend timely opportunities for executive participation.
- Manage Check Point's employee advocacy platform and program, turning employees into brand ambassadors and thought leaders.
- Curate and publish content for employee amplification.
- Develop social media toolkits, messaging guides, and content packages that make it easy for employees to share company news and thought leadership.
- Drive adoption and participation across the organization through ongoing engagement and enablement activities.
- Partner with Internal Communications, HR, and Marketing to support advocacy initiatives and campaigns.
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to amplify key company announcements, campaigns, customer stories, executive content, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Adapt corporate content into social-first formats optimized for LinkedIn and employee sharing.
- Identify opportunities to increase engagement and extend the reach of corporate content through executive and employee channels.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Monitor performance across executive and employee advocacy programs.
- Develop regular reports and insights on engagement, audience growth, participation, and content effectiveness.
- Use data and analytics to continuously improve program performance and content strategy.
- 5–8 years of experience in social media marketing, social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing employee advocacy and social media programs for a B2B technology company.
- Experience developing and managing executive social media programs, particularly on LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn best practices, social media engagement strategies, and audience development.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content to different executive voices.
- Experience creating social-first content and repurposing long-form content into engaging social media assets.
- Experience using social media publishing, monitoring, listening, and analytics tools.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Experience supporting C-level executives and executive thought leadership programs.
- Experience in cybersecurity, AI, enterprise software, or related technology industries.
- Experience managing global social media or employee advocacy programs.
