Data Operations Specialist

Entrio is looking for an Analyst with formal experience in one of the following fields (Data Curation, Data Analytics, System Analytics) and an interested in the worlds of Data and Generative AI for the role of Data Operations Specialist.

About the role:

As a Data Operations Specialist on our Data Solutions Team, you will take ownership of organizing, enriching, and preserving data assets to ensure they’re accessible, reliable, and useful for the entire organization.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Data Analysts, AI Solutions Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to uphold data quality and enrich metadata, enabling seamless discovery and efficient reuse. Your efforts will span developing and enforcing standards, maintaining data catalogs, validating data, and implementing robust governance protocols that support trustworthy decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Data Management and a general understanding of Data retrieval and Scripting Languages. A willingness to quickly adopt new tools and best practices in a dynamic, evolving environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

* Take full ownership of Data Operation tasks - from creating complex datasets to assuring validity/usability.

* Take responsibility for curating, managing and automating internal processes.

* Manage Data Operations process development and implementation from creating the original processes, through to ongoing maintenance and optimization.

* Develop Data QA Processes which will measure accuracy, performance and freshness.

* Participate in the Evaluation of GenAI Processes

* Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards while championing Data Governance within the organization.

Qualifications:

* 1-3 year of formal experience as a Data Curator, System Analyst, Data QA Automation Engineer or Data Operations Specialist

* Experience in Analyzing large/complex datasets

* Experience in building Data QA Infrastructure/Test Sets

* Experience with relational databases

* Experience with automating internal processes using any scripting language, preferably Python.

* Ability to quickly pick up new ideas and approaches.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to approach complex features with an open mind.

* A strong technology background and understanding of different architectures.

* Formal Experience in the Fintech industry - Major Advantage

* Experience with workflow tools.

* Experience with NoSQL databases.

* Experience with data visualization tools.

* Experience with integration tools.
