PickYourBank.com is a fast-growing finance comparison platform helping consumers find the best savings accounts and banking products. We are building our social presence from the ground up and need a mid-level Social Media Manager who can own it entirely. This is a fully behind-the-scenes role. There is no on-camera requirement. You will use AI tools to produce and distribute daily content across every major social channel, grow our audience from zero, and turn personal finance into content people actually want to engage with. Your impact will show in the numbers. This role is for you if: You get genuinely excited when a piece of content outperforms expectations. You have opinions about what makes a hook land. You see AI tools as a multiplier that lets one person do the work of a team. You want to build something from zero rather than maintain something that already exists. And you are entirely comfortable working behind the scenes, letting the content speak for itself.

Requirements

• Channel launch and management: oppen and brand PickYourBank's accounts from scratch across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Telegram, and any emerging platforms worth being on. You will own setup, bio copy, branding consistency, and the ongoing day-to-day of every channel. ‍
• Daily AI-powered content creation: use AI tools to produce a consistent daily content cadence. You understand which format wins on which platform: Reels, Shorts, carousels, text posts, infographics, animated clips. You are not just generating output; you are crafting content with a clear intent for each channel. ‍
• Omni-channel distribution: build and maintain an automated publishing workflow that adapts each piece of content for every platform and gets it out on schedule. No manual bottlenecks, no missed windows. You treat distribution as a system you design and maintain, not a daily manual task. ‍
• Trend and virality strategy: you are ahead of the curve on trending formats, hooks, audio, and cultural moments, and you know how to apply them to personal finance content in a way that actually resonates. You are not chasing trends blindly; you are using them as a vehicle for the brand. ‍
• Performance tracking and iteration: track organic reach, follower growth, engagement rate, and content performance across all channels. Report regularly, identify what is working, and adjust. You are curious about the data and let it shape your creative decisions. ‍
• Community and engagement: monitor comments, mentions, and DMs across all channels using AI-powered social listening tools (e.g. Brand24, Mention, or Hootsuite AI). Use AI to draft and queue responses, flag priority interactions that need a human touch, and identify recurring questions or sentiment patterns worth acting on. You treat community engagement as a system — consistent, scalable, and genuine, not a manual task that falls through the cracks when you're busy.
  
  

• You genuinely live on social media. You notice what is going viral before most people have seen it. ‍
• Hands-on experience managing accounts across multiple platforms simultaneously. ‍
• Actively using AI tools for content creation — not curious about them, already working with them. Examples: ChatGPT / Claude for copy, Midjourney / Canva AI for visuals, Higgsfield AI, Runway, CapCut AI, or Descript for video. ‍
• Familiar with scheduling and distribution tools such as Buffer, Later, Publer, Zapier, or similar. ‍
• Can make personal finance content feel accessible, relatable, and worth sharing — not dry or corporate. ‍
• Self-directed and accountable. You build the system, maintain it, and flag problems before they become issues. ‍
• Data-aware: you track reach, follower growth, engagement — and act on what you find. Advantage: experience in fintech, personal finance content, or comparison / affiliate sites. ‍
• The right candidate is already building content workflows with AI — not learning on the job. Examples of tools we expect you to know: Copy & text (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Gemin), Image creation (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, Nano Banana), Video creation (Higgsfield AI, Kling, Runway, CapCut AI, Descript, Synthesia), Distribution (Buffer, Later, Publer, Zapier)
