Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Herzliya, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Solution Architect for NoSQL + Vector and AI Database will design end-to-end data architectures that leverage ScyllaDB’s NoSQL and vector capabilities to support AI, real-time analytics, and high-throughput transactional workloads. In this role, you will work directly with customers and prospects to understand their technical and business requirements, translate them into scalable architectures, and guide them through evaluations, proofs of concept, and production deployments. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to create reference architectures, best practices, and technical collateral, and to provide feedback from the field into the product roadmap. Day-to-day activities include customer workshops, solution design, hands-on prototyping, integration guidance, performance tuning, and knowledge sharing through documentation, demos, and presentations.
Qualifications

• Strong solution design capabilities, including Solution Architecture and Integration skills, with experience building scalable, highly available systems using NoSQL and/or vector databases.
• Hands-on Software Development experience (e.g., Java, Go, Python, or similar), including building and troubleshooting distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Consulting and customer-facing skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, conduct discovery workshops, and present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of Business Process requirements and how data architectures support real-time applications, AI/ML workflows, and operational analytics.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., ScyllaDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) and familiarity with vector databases or AI/ML infrastructure is a strong advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed, cross-functional environment.
