Data Infrastructure Specialist

Comblack is hiring a Data Infrastructure Specialist / DBA!

This is a great opportunity to step into a core and meaningful technology role, with responsibility for critical data infrastructures in an advanced AWS cloud environment. The role includes working with various databases, supporting end-to-end projects, and providing infrastructure and architectural guidance in a complex and dynamic enterprise environment.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems — required
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Kafka — required
• Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining databases as a DBA, including permissions, performance, and architecture — required
• Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructures — significant advantage
• Familiarity with Data Streaming / Kafka — advantage
• Ability to work in a multi-interface environment, including project support and infrastructure/architectural consulting
