Full Stack Engineer

One of our clients, a fast-growing and profitable global TravelTech company, is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team.

The company develops an advanced online platform that enables travelers to plan and book highly customized vacation experiences through a single seamless journey. Its technology integrates in real time with thousands of suppliers worldwide, dynamically combining multiple travel components into personalized packages. Operating at global scale, the platform serves customers across Europe, North America, and additional international markets while processing high transaction volumes through sophisticated backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full-stack features with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Lead complex technical initiatives from planning and architecture through production deployment.
• Take ownership of production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident management.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technology strategy.
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, testing, documentation, and development best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the continued growth of the engineering organization.
• Evaluate and adopt modern technologies and AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and system quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, preferably as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience working on complex products with end-to-end ownership.
• Background in leading technical initiatives and influencing engineering direction.
• Experience with technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and modern data platforms is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and emerging development tools is an advantage.
