Food Scientist

Torr is the game changer of the snacking industry. We are on a journey to take the snacking world, one category at a time.

We are looking for the right person to join our new product development team as a food scientist, creating the next generation of snacks, all the way from lab to industrial line production.

The right person needs to have a passion for food, a good understanding of food technology basics, organization skills, and hands-on abilities that are required in our manufacturing facility.

The job includes:

· Execution of R&D projects and experiments

· Summarize and analyze trials, data and results

· Exploring new ingredients and approving raw material specs

· Examining and ensuring shelf-life

· Taking an integrative part in the transition process from lab to industrial manufacturing.

Requirements:

· Degree in Food Science/Food Engineering or equivalent

· +1 year Experience in the Food Industry- An advantage

· Team player, with the ability to work independently

· High skills in summarizing and organizing data

· Willingness to work on-site at our factory locations in Yakum and Tnuvot

· Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

· Familiarity with industrial production processes in the food industry

· Comfortable working with production equipment and collaborating with production teams
