Frontend Team Lead

With a platform trusted by over 100 retailers (and growing fast), strong product-market fit, and real momentum, we’re scaling fast, and looking for a Frontend Team leader to manage a small team of talented engineers (web and mobile) and shape the future of our web clients.

• You're a Frontend team leader who genuinely enjoys the people side of the job: growing engineers, building high-performing teams, and leading distributed organizations.
• You're comfortable with leading talented and experienced people - empowering, listening, learning from and embracing ideas other than your own.
• You thrive in fast-moving environments where ownership is real, decisions are made quickly, and teams are empowered to execute.
• You balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities, staying close enough to the code to make strong architectural and engineering decisions.
• You think like a product-minded engineering leader, care deeply about user experience and quality, and know how to translate business goals into impactful engineering outcomes.
  

• Lead, mentor, listen to and grow a distributed team of frontend and mobile engineers - driving technical excellence, clarity of direction, and consistent delivery.
• Drive technical decisions and architecture in tight collaboration with the Frontend tech lead.
• Architect and develop our web clients using modern tools and agentic AI.
• Own the React frontend, driving its direction and evolution within a mixed codebase.
• Evolve frontend infrastructure and tooling to support scale, quality and uptime.
• Partner with Product to prioritize effectively and deliver high-impact outcomes.

• 7+ years of production frontend development, with strong hands-on React experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading an engineering team.
• Startup experience - comfortable with fast iteration, deep ownership, and ambiguity.
• Solid command of frontend build, testing, and deployment tooling.
• Ability to navigate and ramp up on mixed or unfamiliar codebases quickly.
• A sharp eye for UX and a feel for clean design.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

  Nice to have:

• Experience with Vue.js and React Native.
• Experience leading distributed or global engineering teams.
