Senior Full Stack Game Engineer — Build a GenAI Gaming Platform from Zero

The Opportunity

We're building a new technology platform at the intersection of gaming, generative AI, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

This is not a maintenance role. This is not "join a mature team and own a small feature."

This is a rare chance to help architect and build a product from the ground up, the core game experience, backend infrastructure, AI-powered content pipelines, internal tools, and production systems.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Game Engineer who wants to be close to the metal of product creation: designing systems, making architectural calls, integrating cutting-edge AI, and shipping real functionality fast.

The right person thrives in ambiguity, wants real ownership, and is excited to shape the technical DNA of a company before the architecture is set.

What You'll Build

You'll design and implement the foundational technology powering our platform:

• Game clients - smooth, responsive, player-facing experiences
• Game engine / logic - dynamic, scalable game creation systems
• GenAI workflows - generating, transforming, and managing assets, configurations, prompts, and production pipelines
• Backend services - game management, content orchestration, APIs, user flows, and operational control
• Admin and studio tools - fast iteration, monitoring, configuration, and game lifecycle management
• Cloud-native infrastructure - built to scale from prototype to production

You'll work across the full stack: frontend, backend, cloud, data, AI integrations, and game-specific systems.

What We're Looking For

Core

• 5+ years of professional full stack engineering experience
• Proven ability to ship production-grade applications
• Strong ownership mindset; comfortable working independently in early-stage environments
• Able to turn ambiguous product needs into working technical systems

Backend

• Strong Node.js and/or Python
• Scalable backend services, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven systems
• Experience integrating external APIs, AI services, payment systems, or cloud platforms

Frontend

• Strong modern JavaScript / TypeScript
• React, Vue, or equivalent component-based frameworks
• Ability to build polished, responsive UIs - dashboards, operational tools, interactive web apps

Game / Interactive Product Experience in game development is a strong advantage, particularly:

• Game logic and real-time interactions
• Canvas / WebGL / Pixi / Phaser or similar
• Asset pipelines and game configuration systems
• Player-facing UI/UX

Direct game industry experience is helpful but not required - strong full stack engineers who are fast learners are equally welcome.

Cloud, Data & Infrastructure

• AWS or GCP
• Docker required; Kubernetes a strong plus
• PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Security, performance, observability, and scalable deployment practices

AI / GenAI (Strong Advantage)

• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source)
• Image or asset generation workflows
• Prompt engineering and structured AI outputs
• Agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development
• Automated content-generation pipelines

Education
