Head of Engineering - Digital

COMBLACK is hiring a Head of Engineering to lead a digital development division!

A senior leadership opportunity to manage and scale a large digital engineering organization, covering Web, Mobile, and Backend development, while driving technology strategy, delivery excellence, and engineering standards in a modern, cloud-native environment.

What does the role include?

Leading the organization’s digital development domain across Web, Mobile, and Backend teams. The role includes managing managers, team leads, and developers, taking full ownership of end-to-end delivery, working in a Microservices environment with Kubernetes / OpenShift and Cloud-native technologies, and leading engineering standards, DevOps practices, and Engineering Excellence initiatives. In addition, the role focuses on improving Developer Productivity, implementing AI tools in the development lifecycle, and leading large-scale technological transformation processes across the organization.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience managing complex engineering organizations
• Experience managing managers and multiple development teams simultaneously
• Strong background in architecture, scale, and modern platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift, CI/CD, and Cloud environments
• Ability to lead change, connect teams, and influence at an organizational level
• Experience in financial or regulated organizations is a major advantage.
