Senior Full Stack Developer (Temporary Position, Immediate Start)

We are looking for a passionate Senior Full Stack Developer to join our core engineering team and play a key role in shaping qbiq’s cutting-edge solutions.

qbiq is scaling rapidly worldwide, with over 600M square feet delivered across 100+ countries, serving hundreds of customers and thousands of users, leading the industry’s shift to AI, removing one of the most critical decision-making bottlenecks in the multi-trillion-dollar commercial real estate market.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong backend orientation and deep expertise in cloud technologies to take a senior role in building and scaling our infrastructure. This role combines backend architecture and development with approximately 30% frontend responsibilities. In this position, you will lead core architectural decisions, ensure system performance and reliability, and deliver robust software solutions across multiple services and algorithms. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive best practices and maintain a high engineering standard.

This is a temporary 3-month project-based position with an immediate start. Freelancers are welcome to apply, with the potential for future opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems
• Build and optimize services leveraging AWS
• Develop and maintain frontend features and user-facing components
• Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
• Conduct code reviews and uphold code quality and best practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into our stack

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack or backend-focused development using Python or other modern backend languages such as Go, Rust, C#, Java, or Node.js
• Strong experience with RESTful API development using Flask/FastAPI, or comparable frameworks
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers such as AWS and IaC tools like CDK or Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js v3 and its ecosystem (Vue Router, Vuex, Pinia)
• 1-3 years of experience in frontend development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Deep knowledge of MySQL or similar RDBMS like PostgreSQL
• Experience with high-performance data stores like MongoDB and Redis, or equivalent technologies
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration concepts like Kubernetes or AWS ECS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Experience with queuing systems such as RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a “get things done” attitude
