Senior Mechanical Engineer – NPI Department

A leading industrial company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its NPI Department.

This role focuses on transferring products from development to manufacturing, supporting engineering change processes, and working closely with production and subcontractors to ensure manufacturability, quality, and continuous improvement of industrial products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production files, build BOMs, and perform product modeling and mechanical design
• Lead product transfer processes from R&D to manufacturing (NPI)
• Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers, including providing engineering feedback to steel casting manufacturers regarding mold design, manufacturability, and product optimization
• Drive design improvements and adaptation for manufacturing and production processes
• Review engineering change requests and implement engineering modifications to existing products
• Lead ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes end-to-end across multiple interfaces and departments
• Participate in technical discussions and provide engineering support related to products and manufacturing challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and supply chain

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience with mechanical design and 3D modeling using SolidWorks – mandatory
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in transferring products from development to production (NPI)
• Experience in metallurgy – particularly with Ductile Iron castings – a significant advantage
• Knowledge and experience with engineering analyses/simulations – an advantage
• High level of English – mandatory
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills

Location: Rosh HaAyin, with frequent presence required at the manufacturing plant located in the Ariel industrial zone.

Work Model: Hybrid —4 days onsite, 1 day working from home.
