Chief Operating Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Chief Operating Officer (COO) role, with headquarters located in Sha'ar HaNegev.

As a late-stage COO, you will provide the strategic leadership, commercial drive, and corporate vision necessary to scale the company, transition operations to mass production, and successfully bring our breakthrough products to the global market. In the immediate term, you will work closely with the management to spearhead our upcoming fundraising round.

This role is designed for a true entrepreneur.

• Initial Stage: Compensation will be strictly equity/stock-options based, offering a significant ownership stake in a breakthrough technology.
• Subsequent Stage: Upon the successful closing of the upcoming funding round, the role transitions to a competitive executive salary, performance bonuses, and a structured benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven Executive Leadership: Experienced COO (or similar position) with a track record of successfully moving medical device or hardware companies from the laboratory stage to mass production and commercial marketing.
• Industry Expertise: Deep experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a strict requirement, specifically working alongside large medical corporations, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• US Market & Global Scale: A proven track record of scaling operations to large mass production and driving sales growth, with a strong emphasis on expanding market reach within the US market.
• Fundraising Success: A successful track record of fundraising from institutional investors, venture capital (VCs), and prominent angel networks within the medical and healthcare sectors.
• Strategic & Financial Acumen: Advanced skills in strategic and business planning to align organizational objectives with market demands, alongside strong expertise in managing budgets, overseeing financial strategy, and guiding resource allocation.
• Operational Excellence: Demonstrated experience in high-level operations management to ensure efficient, compliant, and effective organizational processes.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. Must be fully fluent in English with a proven track record of delivering high-impact executive presentations.
• Education: At least a degree in Engineering, Healthcare Management, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is preferred.
• Cultural Fit: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to foster innovation and adaptability in a dynamic market; a collaborative, engaging, and professional individual to work and interact with.
• Entrepreneurial Commitment: Must possess a true entrepreneurial mindset, with the explicit willingness to work on a stock-options/equity basis without a salary during the initial stage until the fundraising round is closed.
