Senior Mechanical Engineer – UAV Systems

Senior Mechanical Engineer – UAV Systems

Design and development of airborne mechanical systems, including structures, integration, materials, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of structural components and assemblies for UAV platforms
• Selection of materials, stress analysis, and engineering calculations
• Mechanical integration with electrical, electronic, and software subsystems
• Leading mechanical testing and design validation processes, from ground tests to full system integration
• Resolving engineering issues during product development

Must Have Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
•  5+ years of experience in mechanical design of complex systems
• Strong analytical and computational skills in stress, materials, and structural analysis
• Experience with verification and validation testing processes
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment
• High level of English proficiency
• Experience in mechanical design of UAVs or aerospace systems
• Familiarity with advanced materials such as composites and lightweight alloys
• Experience translating design concepts into final physical products
• Familiarity with AI tools for enhancing engineering and development processes
