Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Regulated Payments & Financing Company

A young and growing regulated payments company, operating under Bank of Israel supervision, is looking for a CFO to join its leadership team and work closely with the company’s CEO.

The company is at an exciting early-growth stage, and the person stepping into this role must bring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to combine financial expertise with broad business thinking and operational execution.

This is not a “classic” finance role.

We are looking for a senior finance leader with a hands-on approach, the ability to operate in a dynamic and non-corporate environment, and a genuine partnership mindset in strategic and business decision-making.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, leading, initiating processes, and being deeply involved in the business itself - not just reporting and financial control.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, controls, and financial planning
• Build and lead the company’s financial strategy
• Work closely with the CEO on strategic and business decisions
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, external advisors, and business partners
• Work with regulators and ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements
• Lead and improve financial processes, controls, and operational infrastructure
• Manage the existing finance team and support future team growth and hiring
• Take an active role in supporting the company’s business growth and operational development

Requirements:

• Previous experience as CFO / VP Finance / Finance Director - mandatory
• Experience working in complex companies operating under regulation - mandatory
• Certified CPA with strong hands-on experience - mandatory
• Experience working in small companies and/or early-stage companies - mandatory
• Management experience - mandatory
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing, non-corporate environment
• Strong business mindset with the ability to turn ideas into operational execution
• Experience in credit, financing, payments, clearing, or similar financial services companies - a significant advantage
• Experience working with financial regulation - a significant advantage
• Legal background - an advantage

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Netanya.
