Role Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position based in Bar Lev, joining the development of advanced robotic systems and autonomous platforms.
Requirements
* B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in mechanical design and product development
* Strong experience with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
* Experience designing mechanical systems for robotics, automation, or multidisciplinary products
* Knowledge in manufacturing processes, sheet metal, machining, and assemblies
* Experience preparing production drawings and technical documentation
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks from concept to production
* Hands-on approach with problem-solving and rapid prototyping mindset
* Advantage: experience with robotic systems, motion systems, motors, gearboxes, sensors, or outdoor ruggedized products
* Fluent Hebrew and good English communication skills
Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for robotic applications
* Create 3D models, production drawings, and BOMs
* Support prototype builds, testing, and integration activities
* Work closely with electronics, software, and integration teams
* Improve existing products for manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization
* Support transition from R&D to production
