Team Lead Frontend Developer

Plaee is a leading provider of turnkey technology solutions for the next generation of Prediction Markets and Sweepstakes Casino platforms. We enable operators to launch and scale platforms quickly with deep liquidity, real-time trading infrastructure, and advanced engagement systems.

Our platform powers white-label products for enterprise clients, combining CFTC-regulated infrastructure for the United States with a global DeFi trading ecosystem featuring self-custodial architecture and secure on-chain execution.

At the core of our ecosystem is PlaeeOS — a unified back-office, CRM, wallet, loyalty, and BI platform designed specifically for high-scale gaming, prediction market, and sweepstakes operators. We build complex real-time systems that process live data, trading activity, promotions, gamification, and customer engagement at scale.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Frontend Team Lead based in our Ramat Gan office.

As a Frontend Team Lead, you will lead the frontend engineering team responsible for building and scaling Plaee’s operator platform, CRM dashboards, real-time trading interfaces, embeddable widgets, and customer-facing experiences.

You will drive frontend architecture and technical direction while mentoring engineers and collaborating closely with product, backend, and design teams. The role involves building highly interactive, data-heavy applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and usability.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges, improving engineering standards, and building products used at scale in real-time environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering ownership, growth, and engineering excellence
• Own the frontend architecture and technical direction of the platform
• Design and develop complex, data-heavy dashboards and real-time interfaces
• Build scalable frontend systems and reusable component libraries
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to turn complex workflows into intuitive user experiences
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, best practices, and scalable architecture patterns
• Identify bottlenecks and improve frontend performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work closely with backend teams on API design and system integration
• Help establish frontend standards, tooling, and development workflows
• Contribute hands-on to critical features and architectural decisions

Requirements

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience leading frontend teams or major frontend initiatives
• Strong expertise with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including closures, async patterns, event loop, and browser performance
• Strong experience with frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Experience building complex, data-heavy, or real-time applications
• Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end and drive technical decisions
• Strong understanding of responsive design and modern frontend development practices
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with strong ownership and execution capabilities
