We are looking for a highly experienced Data Science Team Lead to lead our Ukraine-based Data Science team and drive the next generation of intelligent recommendation and optimization systems across our platform.

As this role works closely with the company’s leadership, product direction, and strategic decision-making, we are specifically looking for someone based in Israel who can work directly with the CEO and Product stakeholders from our headquarters in Raanana, while coordinating closely with distributed Data Science and Engineering teams.

This role combines hands-on applied Machine Learning, experimentation, and strategic product impact. You will play a key role in improving user acquisition, retention, monetization, and app discovery performance through scalable data-driven solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, manage, and mentor a distributed Data Science team in Ukraine, driving both technical excellence and execution quality.
• Coordinate priorities, task execution, and delivery processes across the Data Science function.
• Design, build, and improve recommendation and ranking models that optimize user engagement, conversion, and monetization.
• Develop scalable ML-driven decision systems using statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and advanced recommendation techniques.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and BI stakeholders to translate business objectives into measurable data solutions.
• Analyze behavioral and product data to identify growth opportunities and improve product performance.
• Establish experimentation methodologies, performance monitoring, and model evaluation processes.
• Contribute to the company’s broader AI and data strategy, including intelligent automation and AI-powered product capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Applied Machine Learning, or Recommendation Systems.
• Proven experience building production-grade recommendation, scoring, or optimization systems with measurable business impact.
• Strong background in Machine Learning, statistical analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
• Strong Python and modern data stack experience.
• Experience leading technical teams or mentoring Data Scientists in a production environment.

Strong Advantages

• Experience with ranking systems, reinforcement learning, or personalization engines.
• Experience integrating AI-driven automation or intelligent agent workflows into product ecosystems.
• Experience working with distributed/remote teams.
• MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with the Ukraine-based team in Ukrainian is considered a strong advantage.
