Operational Excellence Engineer

We’re hiring an Operational Excellence Engineer to join QMD.

We are looking for a hands-on, people-oriented and impact-driven professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

This role is at the heart of our manufacturing environment and combines project management, process improvement, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

As our Operational Excellence Engineer, you will lead improvement and cost-saving projects, work closely with managers and employees, and help build a strong culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional cost-saving and operational improvement projects
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation
• Work closely with managers and employees to drive engagement and change
• Manage employee improvement ideas and Kaizen initiatives
• Analyze operational KPIs and support data-driven decision making
• Promote Operational Excellence tools and routines such as Lean, 5S, Gemba and Problem Solving
• Conduct trainings and improvement workshops
• Support a culture of continuous improvement across the organization

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or another relevant Engineering degree
• 3–5 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement or Project Management in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Strong project management and execution skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• High level of English
