Frontend Engineer Team Lead

About the Job:

Zenity is looking for a Frontend Team Lead to serve as the senior technical owner of the frontend domain across the company. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for frontend architecture, shared infrastructure, technical roadmap, and team leadership. You will work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to build excellent user experiences and create the frontend foundations that support Zenity's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Own the frontend technical roadmap, architecture, and shared infrastructure across the company
• Lead the design and development of high-quality frontend components, modules, and user-facing features
• Define standards, patterns, and best practices that enable frontend development at scale across Zenity
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers
• Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver excellent customer and user experiences
• Stay hands-on in implementation and technical decision-making, setting a high bar for quality, performance, and usability
• Evaluate and introduce technologies, tools, and architectural approaches that strengthen the frontend domain
• Help shape how the frontend function grows to meet the current and future needs of the organization
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proven experience leading a team of engineers
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, shared infrastructure, performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Strong product and UX intuition, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations
• Experience building complex, large-scale applications using modern web technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to build and lead a critical domain within the company
