Engineering Manager

A growing technology startup is looking for a Engineering Manager to join a key leadership role with real impact on the product, architecture, and overall technological direction of the company.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, close collaboration with Product and customers, and full ownership over core development processes in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small, high-quality engineering team
• Own architecture, technical design, and development roadmap
• Stay highly hands-on with development and code reviews
• Work on complex data flows, dashboards, and processing pipelines
• Collaborate closely with Product on planning and execution
• Participate in customer-facing technical discussions and pre-sales activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Team Lead or strong technical leadership background
• Strong hands-on Backend development experience
• Experience with Python / Java / .NET
• Experience with scraping, data collection, and HTML-based workflows - mandatory
• Strong familiarity with AI development tools / Agentic workflows / Claude
• Solid system design and architectural thinking
• Ability to quickly understand and work within existing codebases
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau / other BI platforms – strong advantage
• Startup mindset with strong ownership and adaptability
• Excellent English communication skills and customer-facing ability
