Frontend Team Leader

One of our clients, a well-established and profitable technology company in the IoT and smart systems domain, is looking to hire a Frontend Team Leader to lead the development of advanced web applications.

The company develops a combined hardware–software platform that enables monitoring, control, and optimization of large-scale climate and energy systems. Its solution integrates SaaS applications with proprietary controllers, helping organizations improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption. The company operates globally, with customers across the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has a stable product-market fit with ongoing revenue.

In this role, you will lead a small team of frontend developers, taking ownership of architecture, performance, and user experience across multiple products, including customer-facing portals and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 2–4 frontend developers
• Design and develop modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Define and enforce best practices for code quality, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams
• Drive consistency and reusability across UI components and systems
• Remain hands-on with development, including complex features and optimizations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture
• Deep understanding of state management, component design, and API integration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Amplify)
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a mentoring mindset
• Experience working on full product development cycles (not just short-term projects)
• Advantage: experience with cloud platforms or IoT-related systems
