HW Manufacturing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee and optimize contract manufacturing operations and external production partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and timely manufacturing while working closely with internal departments and third-party vendors.

This role requires strong operational leadership, supply chain expertise, and hands-on experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturers and service providers.
• Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements.
• Develop production and supply plans according to company requirements.
• Coordinate production schedules and material availability with manufacturers.
• Ensure timely delivery of finished products.
• Monitor production capacity and identify potential supply risks.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
• Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up activities.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree – an advantage.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and third-party production vendors.
• Experience in electro-mechanical or hardware manufacturing environments.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems such as PRIORITY, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
