We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee and optimize contract manufacturing operations and external production partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and timely manufacturing while working closely with internal departments and third-party vendors.
This role requires strong operational leadership, supply chain expertise, and hands-on experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturers and service providers.
- Manage relationships with external manufacturing partners and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and service agreements.
- Develop production and supply plans according to company requirements.
- Coordinate production schedules and material availability with manufacturers.
- Ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Monitor production capacity and identify potential supply risks.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up activities.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, and Engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree – an advantage.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and third-party production vendors.
- Experience in electro-mechanical or hardware manufacturing environments.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems such as PRIORITY, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Fluent English – written and spoken.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of accountability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented approach.
