Product Line Manager

Micro Ceramics Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of advanced technical ceramic components for the semiconductor, medical, and high-tech industries. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer to lead manufacturing activities and technological development of a dedicated product line, with a strong focus on metal-to-ceramic joining and brazing processes.

This is a key position combining engineering and technological leadership with responsibility for manufacturing performance, product quality, and on-time customer delivery. You will own the product line's manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure customer requirements are consistently met.

•      Manufacturing Management: Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities for the product line, from production planning through delivery to the customer.

•      Technology and Process Engineering: Develop, implement, maintain, and optimize manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on metal-to-ceramic joining and brazing technologies.

•      Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards, and lead investigations into manufacturing issues, defects, and nonconformities.

•      Production and Delivery Performance: Ensure adherence to production plans and delivery schedules through effective coordination of resources, priorities, and activities.

•      Technical Problem-Solving: Identify process challenges, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and improve process stability and reliability.

•      Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve yield, productivity, and efficiency while reducing scrap and rework.

•      Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Logistics.

•      Product and Process Development: Support new product introduction, engineering changes, manufacturing documentation, and the implementation of new technologies and methods.

•      B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.

•      At least 5 years of industrial experience in manufacturing, process engineering, production engineering, or a related field.

•      Experience leading people and managing a team; experience leading a team of 5 or more employees is preferred.

•      Experience in precision manufacturing and manufacturing process improvement.

•      Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis capabilities.

•      Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

•      M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

•      Experience with metal-to-ceramic joining, brazing, or technical ceramics – a significant advantage.

•      Experience in the semiconductor or other high-tech industries.

•      Familiarity with SOLIDWORKS and ERP systems.
