People & Culture Manager/HR Generalist | Position Overview
We’re looking for a People & Culture Manager to create and execute our people operations strategy. This role will play a key role in building a continuous feedback and collaborative culture across shared values, shaping how we develop our people, and designing programs that scale with the company. As the first member of our People Ops team dedicated to people programs, you’ll have the ownership and autonomy to shape this space from the ground up.
Some of the questions we’d love your help tackling:
- How do we build a feedback culture that is continuous, actionable, and part of how we work every day?
- How do we create learning experiences that change behavior and improve performance?
- How do we define the capabilities we’ll need as we scale, and systematically build them across the company?
- How do we support managers to become stronger leaders at every level?
Your First 90 Days Might Include
- Building context on our People Ops philosophy, existing programs, and how our teams operate today
- Assessing current gaps against best practices
- Developing a People Ops framework with priorities and initiatives
- Identifying 1–2 high-impact pilots (e.g., manager enablement, feedback loops, onboarding improvements)
This is an individual contributor role that reports to our Co-Founder/CEO.
Qualifications
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have at least 4 years of experience in People Operations or HR, with meaningful time spent designing and running programs
- Have taken programs from 0 to 1 - and can speak about what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d do differently
- Know how to work cross-functionally - you build in partnership, not in a silo, and you know how to bring stakeholders along
- Excel at thoughtful execution - You ask questions, do research, and take the time to build a strong foundation before diving into tactical steps
- Are experience oriented - You recognize that details are important, and prioritize what will make the greatest impact on the experience of our team
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of People Operations experience, including experience managing HR service delivery, compliance, and process optimization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, audit processes, and employment laws.
- Experience developing and managing immigration programs is a plus.
- Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and experience driving automation and workflow improvements.
- Strong project management capabilities, with a history of successfully driving cross-functional initiatives to completion while identifying areas for automation along the way.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture focused on employee experience and delivering a high level of service.
