Surense is looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to join our R&D team. This is an exciting product development role focused on building new features across backend and frontend systems and contributing to the continued growth and evolution of our platform.

• Design, develop, and deliver new backend and frontend features using Java/Spring Boot and React
• Take part in product requirements through implementation
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions across services, APIs, and user-facing components
• Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, CS  to turn business needs into effective technical solutions
• Contribute to the architecture and continuous improvement of the platform
• Support system reliability, performance, and quality through testing, observability, and thoughtful engineering practices
• Use modern engineering tools and AI-assisted workflows where relevant to improve productivity and development quality

Must:

• 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, with strong backend orientation and production experience
• Proven hands-on development experience in Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Experience with React and/or Node.js
• Strong understanding of web architectures, REST APIs, databases (SQL / NoSQL), distributed systems, and microservices
• Solid debugging skills in data-driven systems, including logs, traces, DB queries, and edge cases
• Experience working in Linux environments, Docker, Git, Bash, and AWS
• Excellent communication, ownership, prioritization, and independent learning skills

Advantage:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS 
• Experience analyzing access logs and production runtime behavior
• Experience working with AI agents / AI coding tools (such as Cursor or Claude)
• Experience in Insurance / Fintech
