Frontend Team Leader

An innovative and fast-growing startup disrupting the travel insurance and travel technology industry. The company offers an advanced, end-to-end platform providing real-time assistance, automated claims processing, instant refunds, and eWallet capabilities.

Currently expanding into travel intelligence and eSIM services, the company is well-funded and employs a large, growing workforce distributed between Israel and the US.

Located in central Tel Aviv (accessible by train), the company operates on a hybrid model with remote work days.

The Role-

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of talented full-stack and backend developers, with a strong focus on client-side and frontend technologies.
• Hands-on Contribution: Dedicate a portion of the time (around a fifth) to hands-on development and technical research.
• Strategic Reporting: Report directly to the VP of R&D and drive product architecture.
• Technology Ownership: Work on complex features spanning both backend and frontend systems in a highly collaborative R&D environment.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Several years of experience in engineering management or team leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience and proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Proven background and experience in both Client and Server-side environments.
