Applift is looking for an experienced UI-UX Designer to join a multidisciplinary team of designers, product managers, product analysts, content managers, and developers.
The team operates on a squad-based methodology: every six months, each squad is assigned a clear goal, a specific metric with a target value, that they're expected to achieve. The squad collectively brainstorms and builds the roadmap they believe will get them there on time, with every member bringing their own ideas, expertise, and experience to the process. From there, the squad owns their time and progress, supported by senior managers who are always available to guide and advise.
At Applift, we believe there's no point in hiring smart, talented people and telling them what to do - we hire smart, talented people so they can tell us what to do. We invest heavily in every employee's personal and professional growth, because we know that when people become the best version of themselves, everyone wins.
Applift is a fast-growing tech company helping thousands of mobile applications manage and improve their marketing performance every day. Through a unique combination of proprietary cutting-edge technology and organic marketing methods, Applift has become the world's most advanced app marketing solution, delivering extraordinary results across app installs, in-app purchases, retention rates, and LTV.
Working in Applift you can expect:
- A real voice in shaping our design system - defining the standards, patterns, and components that will be used across all of our platforms and products.
- A genuinely open-minded team that wants to hear your ideas and insights - a real opportunity to make a measurable impact and shape the way the company works.
- Full creative freedom - we encourage out-of-the-box thinking, and no idea is off the table.
- Fast, impactful work - watch your designs ship and make a real difference, every day.
- A strong collaborative culture built by experienced, friendly teams who actually enjoy working together.
- Design and refine the UI of our internal platforms, client-facing tools, and web products - making everything look and feel like it was built by a world-class team.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and our internal team of organic marketing experts to translate requirements and ideas into clean, polished, pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Build, maintain, and evolve our design system - the components, patterns, tokens, and guidelines that keep everything consistent and scalable across every product we ship.
- Own the visual quality bar - review implemented designs, flag inconsistencies, and make sure what gets built matches what was designed.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback from product and business stakeholders, using data and usability insights to sharpen your decisions.
- A UI-first designer who obsesses over visual craft, interaction details, and interface quality - someone who genuinely minds the difference between good and exceptional.
- Highly organized, with a structured approach to files, components, and documentation that makes life easier for everyone on the team.
- A strong collaborator who works naturally and efficiently alongside developers and product managers - you speak their language and respect their constraints.
- Clear and confident communicator in English, both written and verbal.
- Self-driven and proactive - you don't wait to be told what needs improving, you spot it and fix it.
- Highly motivated, reliable, and accountable.
- Someone who brings genuine aesthetic ambition to every screen - not just making things functional, but making them beautiful.
- 2+ years of UI/UX design experience within a tech company, SaaS product, or web-focused team - you know what it means to design inside a real development cycle and work hand-in-hand with engineers.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality interface design across web and/or product, ideally including design system or component library work.
- Deep proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and design system management.
- Solid understanding of how designs translate to code - you know what's feasible, what's costly, and how to communicate specs clearly.
- Experience working with design systems, either building one from scratch or contributing to an existing one at scale.
- Experience with motion and micro-interaction design: After Effects, Lottie, or similar.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, or basic JavaScript - enough to collaborate fluently with developers.
- Experience with web design and publishing tools: Framer or Webflow.
- Familiarity with analytics and research tools: Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar.
- Experience with project management tools: Jira, Monday.com, Asana, or equivalent.
- Copywriting or UX writing skills in English.
- Any background in digital or performance marketing is a bonus.
