Firmware Engineer

Located in Northern Israel (accessible via the train-line), the company offers a flexible hybrid work model.

The Role-

• Designing and developing firmware and microcontroller subsystems for high-performance SoC (System-on-Chip) products and systems.
• Developing low-level software that drives advanced connectivity and data processing features.
• Taking ownership of the firmware lifecycle, from initial design to integration and validation.
• Implementing automation tools for firmware quality control and pre/post-processing tasks.
• Collaborating with hardware and systems teams to optimize performance in high-speed networking and storage environments.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded/Firmware development.
• Significant experience in C programming for low-level systems.
• Proficiency in Python for automation (pre-processors, post-processors, and FW QC).
• Hands-on experience with Server, Storage, or Networking equipment.
• Practical experience with high-speed protocols and interfaces: PCI-Express (Gen-3 and above), 100/400G Ethernet, InfiniBand, DDR, NVMe, or USB.
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science – a significant advantage.
